Financial Aid
Thrive Academy students are eligible for the Georgia Promise financial aid scholarship. This aid can provide up to $6500 per child annually for their education. This program is not income-based and must meet the following conditions:
- Students starting kindergarten and living in an area with low-performing schools, it does not matter if it’s elementary, middle, or high. Link to low performing schools is below.
- Students coming from public schools and living in areas with low-performing schools, the school they are coming from does not have to be low-performing to qualify as long as one of the schools they would attend, elementary, middle, or high, is on the low-performing list. That is list is provided here.
- There are several application periods for students.
- March 1 – April 15, 2025
- June 1 – June 30, 2025
- September 1 – September 30, 2025
- December 1, 2025 – January 31, 2026
Please check their website to see if you will qualify for this assistance with Thrive Academy of Augusta. Parent registration starts on March 1 st 2025.
Please note that parents/guardians are responsible for all tuition until the scholarship funds are disbursed. For more information about the scholarship or Thrive Academy, please contact the school office at 706-755-0736.
Seniors
Students and parents should complete the FAFSA online at fafsa.ed.gov beginning October 1st of their SENIOR year.
Scholarships
Most all of Thrive’s students should qualify for the Hope Scholarship after graduation; www.GAfutures.org. The Hope Scholarship is available to those students who reside in the state of Georgia and graduate from accredited school with at least a 3.0 GPA. This scholarship should pay most if not all tuition cost of local and other Georgia State Universities. It will not cover room and board. See other opportunities below.
